Classroom Monitor is a News Targeted product for teachers: a secure web dashboard and Windows Teacher Console connected to student and teacher streamers over WebSocket, plus a Chrome and Edge browser extension and an Android app. Educators monitor screens, run remote tools, apply group policies, and deploy one Setup package via GPO or Intune. Site About and Credits always stay News Targeted, even when a tenant customizes logo or display name.

What teachers get

  • Teacher Console (desktop + web): Computer List, Live Thumbnails, and Room Layout seating, with ribbon tools and group trees.
  • Chrome and Edge extension: one MV3 package for both browsers (same Chromium zip). Advanced Policy URL and keyword support, optional student browser presence, and toolbar access to the web Teacher Console. Get it from Downloads.
  • Android app: student presence with MediaProjection live thumbnails and Accessibility remote control; Teacher Also Stream so the device can appear on the panel. Install the APK from Downloads.
  • Remote Session / Full Control: higher-quality live view, consent countdown, Override where policy allows, and Server-managed policies.
  • Viewing notifications: students see when a teacher is viewing; banners can auto-hide, re-notify, and clear when the teacher disconnects.
  • Groups and classroom tools: personal and PIN groups, Advanced Policy schedules, Block Apps, Force Update (Windows / Android / extension), and Server Setup for license registration.
  • License limits: plans separate Console seats (teachers) from Workstation machines (monitored clients); inactive license greys remote tools.
  • Deploy once: one Setup EXE for Student, Teacher, or Server roles; GPO and Intune friendly, with silent options.

What this stack powers

Teachers sign in on the PHP dashboard or Windows Teacher Console. Clients connect via Ratchet (proxied as /wsp). Screen frames, remote commands, viewing banners, and policy pushes travel over encrypted WebSockets. Hosting runs on CyberPanel with OpenLiteSpeed (or LiteSpeed Enterprise) behind Cloudflare.
