Teacher Console

• Live Thumbnails: real-time student screens; clearer selection ticks (high contrast and centered).
• Room Layout: seating drag/drop after ticking machines; auto-saves. Status bar shows product version, console/workstation limits, license expiry as dd/mm/yyyy, and Help.
• Groups: My Groups, temporary groups, PIN join (4-digit), lock, rename, add/remove members.
• Advanced Policy System: schedule grids with hour headers 00 to 23, minute-level cells, local-now line; internet/USB bans; block/allow/detect; encrypted managed policy packs.
• Update / Downgrade: push a chosen newer or older Setup EXE / MSI / Android / extension build; offline queue until client is online; MSI installs update via MSI when published.
• Remote tools: blank screen (message/media), remote control, Block Apps, file browser, Open Website, chat.
• Also Stream: Teacher/Server self-management in Entire Network (default on).

Roles and Server

• File role switch: Switch to Student / Teacher / Server without reinstalling Setup. Student leave needs Teacher PIN or exit code / remote grant.
• Server Setup: Licence, Connections, Settings, Automatic Updates, Patch Management. Daily license ping; auto-update opt-out for Teachers/Students.
• Inactive license: full lockout (grey ribbon/buttons, no remote commands) until the plan is active again.
• Web Teacher Console license: auto-active from the signed-in account (same source as Tenants License/limits and /api/license/status.php). No separate Server key paste is required on the web console when the user already has an owner-assigned plan, active subscription, or resolvable site/tenant Server key. Status bar version follows version-info.json tip.
• Activate Server license: paste key from admin (Tenants, Subscriptions, or Sites), or sign in with the tenant account to fetch the key automatically. Keys stored with DPAPI on the PC.

License precedence

1. Site key when the Server is bound to a site (or sign-in resolves that site).
2. Subscription key for the matching admin subscription.
3. Tenant / user key for the signed-in tenant admin (including owner-assigned Enterprise).

Website Owner can set unlimited or capped students, console limit, workstation limit, and included modules per key. Values appear on Server status bar and Licence tab via /api/license/status.php.

Deployment

• GPO / Intune: one Setup EXE with /quiet and INSTALLATION_TYPE=Student|Teacher|Server. See Deployment.
